Back in 2012 a piece of filth called Qari Abdul Rauf was jailed for six years as the leader of the Rochdale sex grooming gang and was told that when he had finished his sentence he would be packed off to his native Pakistan.
Here we are today, 11 years later, and Rauf,54, is still here. Not only that, but is back in the family home in Rochdale, Lancs.
How is that possible?
Rauf, a father of five, had dual nationality as did another two of his gang who were also to be kicked out. I am puzzled as to why he is allowed, with his conviction, to be staying with his own children.
They were all stripped of their British nationality but continued to use lawyers paid by us, to stay in the United Kingdom.
Then Pakistan played its trump card. They refused to have Rauf and his mates back.
So we are lumbered with these sex perverts whose actions shocked our nation. You may remember his disgusting actions were dramatized in the BBC drama Three Girls.
It is not good enough to say well here we are we just have to accept it.
I think they should be returned to jail until they decide that life in Pakistan looks more attractive. Grateful for your thoughts.
